Bylaws

Article I: Organization
1.) The name of the organization shall be the Coshocton County Artist Collective (CCAC).
2.) The organization shall have a logo in the following form: A picture of the logo is represented below.

Article II: Mission Statement
The mission of the Coshocton County Artist Collective is to unite artists and connect them to the community. The CCAC advocates promoting, inspiring, and cultivating local artists with meetings, exhibits, and events.

Article III: Membership
1.) Membership in the CCAC shall be open to:
(a.) All artists and crafts persons who actively participate in the mission of the organization.
(b.) Students (ages 16-18) interested in the arts.
2.) Voting privileges shall be extended to all current dues paying members.
3.) Members must attend at least one meeting per quarter.

Article IV: Meetings
The CCAC shall have regular meetings on the second Wednesday of every month, unless a majority vote decides a meeting should be held on a different day or is not necessary that month.

Article V: Officers
1.) Officers of the CCAC shall be elected at the December meeting and take office in January. A term shall last one year. The officers are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
2.) Duties:
President: The duty of the President is to direct and manage the affairs of the CCAC and preside over meetings.
Vice President: In the absence of the President, the Vice President shall preside at meetings and perform other duties of the President.
Secretary: The Secretary is to keep minutes of meetings, to conduct correspondence, and to maintain a record of membership.
Treasurer: The Treasurer shall keep all funds, make payments of debts and expenses when authorized by members, keep accounts of all monies received and expended, and render an accounting when called upon by members.

Article VI: Dues
1.) Annual dues shall be $25 for adults and $12.50 for students. Dues must be paid by new members when joining and by returning members in February. New members who join after the first half of the year shall only be required to pay half of the annual dues for that year.
2.) Members must have all dues paid in order to participate in any CCAC events.

Article VII: Changes in Bylaws
Changes in the Bylaws shall be enacted on the basis of a majority vote with no less than two-thirds of the membership present.
